3.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Technical & Usage Data: IP address, device identifiers, operating system, browser/app version, crash logs, analytics events (e.g., screens viewed, taps, session duration).

3.4 Sensitive & Special Category Data

Certain details you choose to share—such as religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or health-related info—are treated as sensitive data. We process this only because you voluntarily submit it and to provide the Services you request.

Biometric data for verification. If you opt in to selfie verification, our verification provider may use facial recognition to compare your selfie to your profile photo. MarryShia does not receive or store biometric identifiers. We receive verification results and the selfie image for fraud prevention and trust/safety. Fraudulent images may be retained by the provider for model anti‑spoofing and security improvement for up to 2 years, after which they are deleted (per the provider’s policy).
