1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the MarryShia mobile application or website (“Services”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• The Services are available only to residents of the United States and Canada.
• You must be legally permitted to enter into a binding contract.

3. Account Creation & Onboarding

• You can register using Google, Apple, or email sign-up.
• During onboarding, you must provide accurate information including your name, date of birth, occupation, marital history, education, and partner preferences.
• You must upload at least one clear photo to complete your profile.
• You agree to allow location access so we can show nearby matches, and push notifications so we can notify you about messages and matches (if enabled in your device settings).

4. Core App Features

• After matching, you can exchange messages with that user within the app.
• You can block or unblock other users at any time.
• You can report inappropriate behavior or content, which we will review.
• You can delete your account permanently via the app settings.
• You can delete or replace your photos at any time.

5. User Conduct

By using MarryShia, you agree to:

• Be respectful and truthful in your profile and communications.
• Not engage in harassment, hate speech, or discrimination.
• Not solicit money, promote scams, or share explicit sexual content.
• Use the platform only for its intended purpose — connecting for marriage within the Shia community.
• Not create multiple accounts, impersonate others, or falsify information.

6. Account Deletion & Termination

• You may delete your account at any time via the app settings.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, create risks for others, or as required by law.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data, including location and photo information.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for the actions, conduct, or content of other users. MarryShia is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee matches or relationship outcomes.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
